Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area to Continue Offering Select Disney Resort Hotel Benefits Throughout 2019
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Aug. 24, 2018 — Today, Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area announced that each guest staying at the Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area in 2019 with valid Walt Disney World theme park admission will have access to the Walt Disney World theme park Extra Magic Hours benefit, as well as the opportunity to make FastPass+ selections up to 60-days in advance of their stay. These benefits are an extension of the existing benefits guests of Holiday Inn have received throughout 2018.
Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area, which is designated as an Official Walt Disney World hotel, has a long-standing relationship with the Walt Disney World Resort. Through Dec. 31, 2019, Holiday Inn guests can take advantage of the theme park Extra Magic Hours benefit and enjoy even more magic!
Each day, one of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks opens early or extends later for Guests to enjoy select attractions, and during select dates, Extra Magic Hours benefit may also be offered at a Disney Water Park. Guests can view the Extra Magic Hours calendar at disneyworld.com/parkhours, or request a copy of the printed Times Guide, available in the hotel lobby.
In addition, guests at the Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area, who have a valid theme park ticket or confirmation number and a hotel reservation number, will be able to link their hotel reservation on MyDisneyExperience.com, and with a linked, valid theme park ticket, these guests can utilize a 60-day booking window for FastPass+ selections. Guests should connect with their travel provider to ensure the provider can give the Guest the necessary ticket confirmation and hotel reservation number needed to utilize this benefit.
These benefits allow guests of Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area to enjoy exciting new additions to Walt Disney World Resort, including the recently opened Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here, guests have the sensation of shrinking to the size of a toy to explore Andy’s backyard and see larger-than-life Toy Story characters. Guests can experience Slinky Dog Dash, a family friendly coaster, and Alien Swirling Saucers, a wild, spinning good time. The popular Toy Story Mania! has also been expanded, now offering even more opportunities for enjoyment.
Guests who need to purchase a Walt Disney World theme park ticket may do so at the Guest Service Desk or the Disney merchandise location in the hotel.
This hotel benefit is available now through Dec. 31, 2019, and is subject to change without notice. Guests without the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option must use their ticket for admission to the same theme park where they would like to enjoy the Extra Magic Hours benefit.
Disney Springs lands among New York Times’ top 52 places to visit in 2018
ORLANDO, Fla. - Jan. 10, 2018 - Disney Springs is among several U.S. spots on a newly released New York Times list of the 52 Places to Go in 2018.
Coming in at No. 41, the Walt Disney World-area entertainment/dining/shopping complex provides "an unexpected culinary destination with a focus on grown-ups. Rick Bayless, Masaharu Morimoto, Wolfgang Puck and Art Smith have all opened restaurants here, and George Miliotes is launching a wine bar in spring 2018 that will be the only master sommelier-ied wine bar in the state. There are boutiques, a House of Blues and partying opportunities aplenty — all giving adults a new reason to go to Disney," wrote Nell McShane Wulfhart.
